John Angelo is an outstanding man who has demonstrated his own self-advocacy and a dedicated advocate for others with disabilities.
Anyone who has ever had the pleasure of working with John and hearing John speak knows how remarkable he is. John served on the board of the Arc of Indiana County for over 15 years and has shared his triumphs and successes as a role model for others with disabilities. The Arc of Indiana County has established the John Angelo Transition Scholarship to continue John’s work in helping others with disabilities achieve success as they transition into adulthood. A $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to an individual in Indiana County and a $1,000 scholarship to an individual in Armstrong County.
