- Juvenile Law Center (JLC) trains lawyers, judges and professionals who work with children, and educates the public by distributing a wide range of publications, participating in conferences, and testifying at public forums.
- The Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) is a law ensuring services to children with disabilities throughout the nation. IDEA governs how states and public agencies provide early intervention, special education and related services to more than 6.5 million eligible infants, toddlers, children and youth with disabilities.

- Pennsylvania Training and Technical Assistance Network (PaTTAN) is an initiative of the Pennsylvania Department of Education, Bureau of Special Education. PaTTAN supports the Department of Education’s efforts to lead and serve the educational community by offering professional development that builds the capacity of local educational agencies to meet students’ needs. PaTTAN’s primary focus is special education. However, services are also provided to support Early Intervention, student assessment, tutoring and other partnership efforts, all designed to help students succeed.
